About Etsharrafna
Etsharrafna is arabic for 'it's an honour' and is mostly used when you meet someone for the first time.
In 2011 I created Etsharrafna to provide services, like Etsharrafna DogGarden. This was my project on the Saturday's, where people and their dogs could come over and have a coffee. The location was a big closed garden at the Corniche in Maadi with a great view over the Nile. The dogs could play together while the owners were having a chat.
The customers were very pleased with this project and so was I. But I realized that a project like this needed more security and safety then I could provide at that moment. So I decided to hold the project until I was ready. Now I'm just waiting for the right opportunity inside Maadi.
About me
My name is Lian and I'm a social worker from origin. I live with my Egyptian husband in Egypt for already 5 years and I have managed his company for about 3 years. He has a great reputation in Cairo in dance, fitness and kids-classes (check out: www.egy-fdc.com & www.shams-wayoflifegym.weebly.com ).
In 2010 my husband brought a 7-months old German Shepherd Dog in our life and we named him Kenzo. He is the most amazing dog and with him I found my passion: training dogs, which actually means: training the dog-owners.
I studied, got certified from Holland and still studying for more certifications.
Beside my customized dog training (based on the clients -and dogs needs) I work in cooperation with PAC Pet Services and Security Services. Every client referred by me to PAC after the assessment, will get a discount of 10%.
I wish everyone to have the same positive experiences with dogs that I have. To look at them for what they are. To be able to respect them in the right way and get their respect and loyalty back. To have a life with dogs based on facts, not on fairy tales. To have compassion for them and not to use them for business-purposes. To find positive ways of training, instead of working by old-fashioned-methods that are based on punishments. I wish for everyone to experience what it really means to have a dog in your life.
